JSERWA Approved Training Activites
JSERWA Executive Committee has reviewed the applications
received for conducting the training classes at Multi Purpose Hall/ within the
colony premises in prescribed format and approved the following activities. The
residents of the colony are hereby informed to take the advantage of the
training programs:
Note:

Residents
who are interested to join the training activities may contact the trainers.
·
The
fees need to be paid to the respective trainers directly.
·
An
entry pass will be issued to outside Trainers by JSERWA.
·
The
activities are arranged only for the colony residents.
·
Residents may bring to the notice of JSERWA with necessary details, if
any training activities other than the activities listed above need to be
conducted for the benefit of the residents.

Dry Waste Collection Program
Dry Waste Collection Program
A campaign was conducted on 17/10/2015 jointly by JSERWA
and ITC-BBMP under Waste Management Program at the colony.
ITC team will be visiting our colony on 31/10/2015
Saturday for
· Collecting dry waste.
· To continue the campaign for
providing bags for the houses which were not covered on 17/10/2015
CMD has already installed dust bins for dry waste
collection, in the fenced area, near the DG room. All the residents are
requested to put the dry waste in these bins only.
ITC personnel will be coming to collect the dry waste on
31/10/2015. All the residents may note the same and put the dry waste in the
place identified.
Wet Waste Collection
CMD has initiated the activity for collecting wet waste
from each block as notified earlier. Those who are not able to handover the wet
waste may dump the same at the identified place (near the DG room). Contact
Engineer-in-Charge office at 1st Floor of MPH for more details.

Wet waste collection from 29/10/2015
The collection of wet waste, after
segregation at source, will being on 29/10/2015. The CMD has already issued a
notice to residents, through notice boards, in this regard. JSERWA requests all
the residents to segregate the dry and wet waste and handover the wet waste
every day as per the schedule announced by CMD.
Wet waste will be collected from
Monday to Saturday from 8.30 AM to 10.00 AM.
C Blocks: 8.30 to 9.00

Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebration-2015
A team of residents has come forward to celebrate the Karanataka
Rajyotsava at the colony.
JSERWA has reviewed and agreed for the proposal provided
by the team. JSERWA will extend all the facilities available.
JSERWA requests all the residents to co-operate and
participate in the function and make the celebration a grand success.
Highlights of Meeting No-04 and 05
Meeting No -05 (27/10/2015)
· Formation
of sub committees for school, transport, security and WCGR approved
· A team has
come forward to celebrate Karnataka Rjyotsava in the colony. This has been
approved.
· CCTV
procurement will be initiated by sub committee for security
· The
formats received for training activates conducted by different trainers/
instructors for the residents have been reviewed. Dance, Music, Art and Craft and
Drawing classes were approved.
· Library
sub committee will be announced shortly

Highlights of First GBM of JSERWA held on 09/10/2015
· Proceedings started at 1930 hrs
· President, JSERWA welcomed all the
members
· The elected executed committee
members have taken Oath, as per the bylaw.
· Secretary-JSERWA has presented the
financial report and activities of ad-hoc committee which was formed on
25/04/2015.
The highlights of
the report are:
1. Bylaw formulated and made ready
for registration
2. The payment of BMTC has been made
RTGS mode.
3. MPH booking streamlined, financial
transaction was carried out only through Cheques. A total of 05 MPH booking was
there.
4. An Art and Craft exhibition
conducted on 15th August 2015 for residents.
5. Financial Status of JASRWA: Closing
Bank Balance when ad-hoc committee completed the tenure is 4.3 time greater
compared to opening bank balance when ad-hoc committee taken over in May 2015.
· The GBM has approved the financial
report and appreciated the activities of ad-hoc committee.
· Further, Secretary-JSERWA has
briefed about the Election for JSERWA EC, introduced all EC members and
highlighted the activities of JSERWA from 23/08/2015.
Following are the highlights
1. Registration of JSERWA as per
Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960
2. New Current accounts opened and
most of the payments made in online mode only.
3. School SB account closed and
merged with new current account, with separate accounting for JSERWA fund and
School funds.
4. New School building approved for
the colony
5. Meeting conducted with CMD, where
issues related to colony premises discussed
· The GBM appreciated the activities
of newly elected executive committee.
· Convener Welfare and Cultural has
briefed about Waste Management activity planned and informed about segregation
of waste at the source. He told that Dry waste collection plan from ITC under
WOW (Wellness Out of Waste) program. It was also informed that a compost plant
will be active in the campus soon, and all the wet waste need to be handed over
compulsorily for this plant. The members presented have clarified their doubts
during this discussion.
· Treasurer presented the interim
budget for the FY 2015-16. Highlights of budget proposal are procurement of
Table Tennis, Badminton Nets, CCTV, Public Addressing System. GBM approved the
budget proposal.
· GBM has approved the proposal of revival
of Library facility at the colony.
· As per bylaw, the charges for MPH
booking discussed.
· Convener Transport has briefed
about transport committee activities. He also informed the members that, new
current account has been opened and all the necessary action will be taken to
streamline transport related issues.
· Convener-School informed the
members about School fees, GBM approved the same.
· No bills shall be pasted on the
walls of the building. Members suggested that, if any bills have been pasted by
anybody, JSERWA shall collect a fine of ` 500 and the same has been approved by GBM.
· After the completion of meeting
agenda, JSERWA members have actively participated in the discussion. Following
are the glimpses of discussion:
· Many residents have not joined the
association and it is suggested that a drive may be conducted to include them
into the stream. In the mean while subscription fee related matter has been
discussed and GBM approved to continue with the present subscription amount of ` 200.
· Lights to be arranged facing HMT
Watch factory Road, HMT
School joining road from
the premise, since there are no streat lights in these roads. Members asked
about the arrangement of functions namely, Independence Day, Republic day and Karnataka
Rajyotsava in the colony. It will be effective only after necessary amendment
to bylaw.
· It is suggested to procure sound
system and chairs for association so that they need not be borrowed on rent in
future for activities organized by JSERWA. It is approved to go ahead with these
procurements.
· Outsiders will not be entertained
for the training activities.
· Vice President presented vote of thanks.
Dry waste management program- Inaugurated
JSERWA
in association with ITC and BBMP, under the program-Wealth Out of Waste (WOW), has
jointly organized a door to door campaign in the colony today as a part of
Welfare activity. The program has been inaugurated symbolically, by handing over a bag for collection of dry waste to one of the residents. BBMP Corporator (representing the Ward No 16) Shri J. N. Sriinvasamurthy, a Senior Health Inspector and a team from working team from ITC and ITC officials, JSERWA EC members and some of the residents were present during this occasion.
Campaign for Dry Waste Segregation and collection
JSERWA in association with ITC and
BBMP, under the program-Wealth Out of Waste (WOW), has jointly organized a door
to door campaign in the colony today as a part of Welfare activity. A team from
ITC has come for the campaign. All the residents are requested to be a part of
this initiative. Residents need to separate the waste into Wet and Dry. The dry
waste will be collected once in a week on Saturday between 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs
near the Multi Purpose Hall. The dry waste collected in the bags provided by ITC
shall be deposited there.

Safety measures at all blocks of the colony
In order to ensure the safety of the
residents the association, during a meeting with CMD, has requested to close all
the passages and open spaces at different floors of each building. The passage
doors are made for service purposes only. The Engineer-in-Charge will take
necessary action in this regard. All the residents may take out any belongings,
like flower pots etc., kept in the passages of the buildings.

A meeting with SBI officers
A meeting has been organized at the colony with the officials
from State Bank of India on 11th October 2015, Sunday, regarding newly introduced
investments plans for the benefit of our colony residents from 11am to 2pm.
All the residents may make use of this opportunity.
Working Team for Welfare Activities
JSERWA
EC wishes to have active participation of residents of the colony for the
welfare activity. Hence it is decided to make working group lead by Convener,
Welfare and Cultural. Residents who wish to join may kindly provide their names
to jserwa.residents@gmail.com or jagannatha@istrac.org along with the format
provided in the link. The forms are also available at the security post, main
gate.
